On each stone panel, Barbara's intricate design remains raised and highly polished, as the background area is carved away. Sandblasting the polished stone slab reveals the intrinsic beauty of the stone's natural patterns hidden just beneath the surface. The combination of these two distinctly different surfaces creates a stunning earthy textural effect.
